The Entertainment Book offers discounts on car rentals. Check to see if the discounts apply to truck rentals as well.

Your workplace or union may also offer discounts on moving. Ask.

If you're in a real bind, call your local churches, you may be able to get helping hands as well as a truck for very little.

The Canadian Mental Health Association has an Employment supports division in some areas with a trained moving crew.

Community Care also has moving help available in many areas.

If you have to eat out, the cheapest meal is usually breakfast. Some restaurants offer all day breakfast (sans their early bird special). While others offer the same great prices all day long. I came across this great deal on the way home from Camp Quin-mo-lac in Havelock, Ontario!
