- Shop Online – Did you know at Amazon.ca you can find both new and used graphing calculators
at a fraction of the in-store cost?
- Buy in bulk – Get together with a neighbour and split bulk packages for notebooks, pens etc,
- Need a computer? Think green! Look up a local shop Like NP_Media in Omemee, who pride themselves in creating custom “Green Machine” solutions to fit your buddget. Tiger Direct is a great source too!
- Recycle old supplies – Sometimes it’s easier to persuade kids to reuse when they’re involved in revamping the old ones with decorations or rewarding them with half the savings as an incentive.
- Buy used textbooks
– Amazon.ca also has great prices on used textbooks. They are also currently (as of 2010) offering free two-day shipping for college students.
