Yesterday I went through my annual birthday ritual of preparing to pay for the privilege of driving. I hunted around for someplace to get my emissions test done, headed out in my car and at the first stop sign my front left tire started growling and groaning! Great! I thought Happy Birthday to me! A brake job! BUT the birthday Gods were smiling on me after all. I pulled in for my etest at Canadian Tire and lo and behold- BRAKE parts were on SALE! By having my brakes give out this week instead of next week I saved a cool $100. (You might save more- my parts are some of the cheapest according to the mechanics at Canadian Tire.) Don't wait till your brakes start talking to you. Most drivers need a brake job every 2 years. Get them fixed this week while the parts are on sale. A brake inspection is free if you get the work done ($20 if you don't). Save money while the sale's on!
By the way- my 2004 Pontiac Sunfire passed with 0 emissions! Pretty good considering the number of kilometres she's logged giving driving lessons! I'm so proud of my baby! A great Canadian Car!
